We provide access to local and global knowledge coming from our Co-Founder Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, and our EIT community specialists.

Finance

We provide funding of up to €100,000 from our sources, and much more from our global partners in EIT community and VC funds.

Our key partner EIT, unifies over 2,900 partners, making it Europe's largest innovation ecosystem. By fostering collaborations, EIT empowers individuals and organizations to transform their ideas into cutting-edge products and services.

Our mission is to foster innovation by providing startups with infrastructure, mentorship, resources, and tailored programs, fostering a collaborative environment and access to a supportive community, stakeholder support, and international markets.

About

Since its establishment in 2018, BAU has supported the growth of promising tech startups in N. Macedonia, and has implemented over 10 acceleration programs, and provided support to 100+ teams in their business development endeavors. The organization assessed over 400 innovative ideas, ultimately investing a total of €533,000 in the top 10 startups. Phase 1 received co-financing from the Fund for Innovation and Technology Development (FITD) of N. Macedonia.

People

By leveraging our global network, BAU empowers Macedonian companies by fostering local development while cultivating a global mindset. We facilitate access to the international market through dynamic partnerships with investor networks, business communities, and industry experts, to actively promote knowledge transfer.

Focus

Starting in 2023, Phase 2 of BAU will bring significant advancements to our organization. We are expanding our portfolio of investees, offering customized acceleration programs, boosting corporate innovation by connecting needs with local talents, launching a new investment fund, and hosting the EIT and WBSA Secretariats.

European Institute for Innovation and Technology

As the National Secretary for North Macedonia at EIT, the CEO of BAU Accelerator facilitates the engagement of Macedonian innovators with more than 2900 partners within EIT's vast European network. This collaboration enables them to drive groundbreaking product development initiatives, ensuring that they stay at the forefront of innovation.
