The second edition of the Founders ABCDeep Tech Startup Support Program (2024) will focus on improving the business model and capacity of participating startups, their investment readiness / access to finance potential, and their awareness of the opportunities offered by the Pan-European innovation networks of the EIT KICs.

The goal is to improve the maturity level of the startups and open the doors to Europe through EIT KIC Accelerator programs.

The two-month (startup support / acceleration) program aims to strengthen the innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Western Balkans, while being light enough to allow participants to focus on their business development journey.

The second edition of the program will offer an award of up to EUR 10,000 to the best performing startup(s).

The Founders ABCDeep Tech Startup Support Program is looking for innovative and unique solutions from deep tech, related areas, such as:

Advanced Computing, Advanced Manufacturing and Materials, Aerospace, Automotive and Remote Sensing, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Big Data, Biotechnology and Life Sciences, Communications and Networks, Cybersecurity, Electronics and Photonics, Internet of Things, Semantic Web, Robotics, Semiconductors, Clean Technologies, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Web 3.0, Blockchain and other.

The maturity of technology should be on at least TRL3.

Participation requirements

Only startups from the WB economies (Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo*) and Hungary can apply, which are legally registered entities (or to be registered at the duration of the program).

Startups wishing to apply must submit their application online on the following LINK, by 19 April 2024 at 11:59 pm CET.

About 10 applicants will be selected to take part in the online startup support program.

We help innovators and entrepreneurs build a viable business model around their innovative product or service idea and validate it. The strategic aim of this program is to create a sustainable impact in the Central-Eastern and Southern-European Regions by boosting innovation and entrepreneurship within this part of Europe. The programme’s concept originates from the real needs of the innovation ecosystem of these regions. Countries face similar challenges; they have enormous innovation potential with bright scientific minds, but the research results will likely remain within the labs. At the same time, many needs have been unmet from the corporate side. To overcome these challenges by connecting innovative solutions with the industry’s articulated demands and increasing our regions’ competitiveness, six EIT Communities teamed up to jointly run EIT Jumpstarter: EIT Health, EIT RawMaterials, EIT Food, EIT InnoEnergy, EIT Manufacturing and EIT Urban Mobility organize the competition. The seven Knowledge and Innovation Communities of EIT, the European Institute of Innovation and Technology. They bring together businesses, research centres and universities as partners creating a favourable environment for creative thought and innovation to flourish. EIT is a valuable, credible partner to get your business idea up and running.

Graduates of the program possess the skills and knowledge to launch their companies. As part of the alumni community, they receive further support and dedicated advice from the EIT Communities regarding the next stage of their start-up journey. We introduce teams to partners, VCs, regulatory bodies and companies that can produce their products, their first buyer or a test site. They meet major innovation hubs in Europe, which is essential when they want to enter foreign markets.

The program has trained more than 970 start-up teams since 2017, and interest in our competition is growing. In 2019 EIT Jumpstarter won the Best Association Training Initiative Award of the European Association Awards.

Rebuild Ukraine

This new cohort is for all Ukrainians who want to rebuild and revitalise the country through innovation. We’re looking for scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs, PhD and master’s students and innovators across all thematic cohorts – namely Digital, Food, Health, Innoenergy, Manufacturing, New European Bauhaus, RawMaterials and Urban Mobility. Ukrainian citizens and teams can only apply for this category.

Western Balkans

It is more than a special prize, it is a shift in mindset and approach. With this new dimension across the categories of EIT Jumpstarter, we are strengthening the cooperation between the countries of the Western Balkans and the European Union.

New European Bauhaus

Since its 2021 edition, EIT Jumpstarter has been accepting applications from the fields that the New European Bauhaus initiative covers.

The New European Bauhaus proposes focusing our conversations on the places we inhabit and our relationship with natural environments beyond the built space. It is a practical approach to discovering beautiful, sustainable, inclusive ways of living and using them to inspire our way forward. It is also a design lab, accelerator and network simultaneously. A creative and interdisciplinary movement, convening a space of encounter to recuperate and revisit sustainable practices from, empower the most inspiring practices of today, and design future ways of living at the crossroads between art, culture and science.

EIT Food Startup Awareness and Networking Event Empowers AgriFood Innovators in North Macedonia

To improve the local agrifood scene, Business Accelerator UKIM recently hosted the EIT Food Startup Awareness and Networking Event in Netaville, Skopje, spanning two dynamic days on December 4th and 5th. Designed as a collaborative platform, this event brought startups, aspiring entrepreneurs, and eager students seeking to tap into the wealth of knowledge and expertise prevalent within the agrifood sector.

The event commenced with a vibrant workshop on the first day, boasting interactive sessions led by distinguished industry experts. Attendees actively engaged in discussions, shared innovative ideas, and delved into collaborative dialogues aimed at nurturing a culture of innovation and entrepreneurial growth. The workshop’s primary focus was to empower participants with crucial insights and multifaceted perspectives indispensable for success within the agrifood industry.

Transitioning seamlessly into the second day, the event pivoted towards personalized 1:1 mentoring meetings. Here, individuals and teams received tailored guidance and support, fine-tuning their entrepreneurial endeavors under the mentorship of experienced professionals. The highlight of this transformative event was the engaging networking session, providing a platform for participants to pitch their groundbreaking ideas to a diverse audience, comprising representatives from the business community, academia, and key stakeholders deeply invested in agrifood innovation.

A very interesting panel talk happened, discussing big problems in the agrifood business in North Macedonia and in the region. They looked at ways everyone could work together to solve these problems. After that, during lunchtime, people got to meet and make important connections. This helped to build a strong group ready for future growth and new ideas.

An invaluable highlight was the insightful presentation delivered by a distinguished representative from EIT Food. This segment illuminated the diverse array of opportunities available to companies in North Macedonia, offering a roadmap to leverage EIT initiatives for growth and advancement within the agrifood domain. The event thus served as a catalyst for empowerment, knowledge exchange, and the cultivation of a vibrant ecosystem primed for innovation and sustainable growth in North Macedonia’s agrifood sector.

Welcome to the first Climathon in Skopje!


Skopje is one of the 60 cities around the Globe that organize Climathons around the same time this year in order to find solutions to local climate problems. The subject of the first Climathon is: DIGITAL SOLUTIONS

Climathon is a city-based initiative of EIT Climate-KIC that offers a pathway to action for anyone who wants to create local solutions to solve climate challenges in cities. It is a global movement that empowers citizens to act against climate change.

“Begin with the End in Mind”  (Habit #2 of Steven Covey’s Seven Habits of Highly Successful People)

Whether you are an angel investing in a new company or a founder who is pitching to angels, it is important to your net worth to figure out what the Exit will be for this venture. Investors and Founders will enjoy an in-depth discussion on exit strategies as they relate to companies that are seeking seed stage capital.  The time to start thinking about the exit is at the beginning when you can create the greatest value for all stakeholders.

Think of the acquirer of a company (regardless of whether it is by M&A or IPO) as the “second customer” for your company.  Just like the first task of a startup should be to understand who the customer is and the unique value proposition that the company provides, the exit is selling to the “second customer” who buys the company.  The value proposition for that customer is different than the proposition for the first customer and learning how to develop these two value propositions simultaneously is critical to maximizing investor return.

Successful angel deals result in a return on investment in 3-7 years. Exit potential is one of the main criteria that investors use to decide which companies to invest in. To get there, we need to begin with the end in mind.

Believable Proformas (Financial Projections)

Proformas are the founders’ chance to present a well-educated set of projections for the financial performance of their company in the future.  While nobody can predict the future with 100% accuracy, the proforma is one of the most important planning tools available to founders and the most important due diligence document for investors.


In this workshop, we will cover:

Valuation is a mystery for both founders and investors, but it doesn’t have to be. In this workshop, we will work through five different valuation methodologies and how they work together to form a smart and fair valuation for a company at the early stages.

Participants will learn:

  • How to use the valuation methods in negotiation
  • How to think about “externalities” that can impact value
  • The Scorecard Valuation Method
  • The Risk-Adjusted Valuation Method

By the end of this masterclass, participants will have the tools and knowledge to fairly value companies.

Capital Stack Strategies

The capital Stack is the combined projected capital raise for a company. These raises are broken into “tranches” or bite-sized chunks that will typically result in about eighteen months of operating runway for a company. The proper use of a capital stack strategy is closely tied to the proforma and exit strategy and when properly configured, will help the founder and investor to minimize dilution from multiple follow-on rounds of investment.

In this workshop, we will cover:

  • Runway – how to calculate it and how long should it be?
  • Reserves – when should the next capital raise begin
  • Size of Raise – how much should a founder raise
  • Number of Raises – what is the optimum number of raises to grow fast, but reduce dilution?
  • Milestone Evaluation – how does value increase with milestones reached?
  • When is the optimum time to raise in order to minimize dilution?
  • Investors – what is the relationship between raises and valuation?

By the end of this masterclass, participants will understand how to construct a capital strategy to maximize returns for both investors and founders while minimizing risk.

Understanding Term Sheets

The term sheet can be intimidating for founders and investors at first, but once you get the general ideas, they become a lot easier to understand.  In this workshop, we will review the purpose and use of the term sheet, and we will cover the main terms and how they are used in negotiation.

Participants will learn:

  • Purpose of the term sheet
  • Different kinds of deal structures and the pros and cons for each.
  • When and how to prepare the term sheet.
  • The role of the “lead investor” in creating the term sheet.
  • Deal structure options
  • Review of key terms including valuation, deal close date, minimum to close, antidilution, liquidation preferences, information rights, board seats, dividends, prorata rights, control provisions, conditions precedent to financing, and more.

We will also cover common vs. preferred shares and how to understand the difference.

Due Diligence

Due diligence is the process of evaluating an investment opportunity.  This process is often approached haphazardly.  We will cover how founders should prepare for diligence and what investors should be looking out for during the diligence process.

Participants will learn:

  • What are the key elements of due diligence?
  • How long should due diligence take?
  • When does an investor decide to say “yes” or “no”?
  • What are the phases of diligence?
  • What are the financial impacts to investment with high vs. low diligence?
  • How to identify the three key risks in any company. (Hint – they’re not the same for all companies)
  • How founders should handle discussing risks with investors.
  • Due diligence in syndicated deals – best practices.
  • The role of the lead investor in due diligence.

Peter Adams is a Colorado-based author, investor, speaker, educator, and community leader. He is the Managing Director of the Rockies Venture Fund, a venture fund supporting high-growth early-stage companies in technology, healthcare, and life sciences. He is also the Executive Director of the Rockies Venture Club, the longest-established angel investing organization in the U.S.  He is the founder of the Rockies Venture Institute, the first non-profit to create accelerator programs that serve investors and entrepreneurs. Peter is a board member and officer of the Angel Capital Association and the Angel Investor Foundation and the author of Wiley & Sons’ Venture Capital for Dummies.

An intensive online series of webinars, virtual classrooms, and 1-1 mentoring sessions on a specific thematic area (for this cycle, it will be “Agritech and Foodtech”), organized and delivered by entrepreneurs from Silicon Valley, mentors from Greece and Europe, together with Mindspace
and its partners.

Target Group

University students or recent alumni (less than 2 years of graduation) with studies in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Physics, Informatics, Computer Science, Software Engineering,
Environment and Natural Sciences, but also students that are interested in the specific thematic area with marketing or business development skills, all over Europe. Students can apply in teams or as individuals and we help them to form a team towards the end of the second week of the program. It is expected that the applications will be more than 600, however, the program’s
structure focuses on qualitative results and meaningful impact for the attendees and therefore
there will be an upper limit of up to 200 students accepted.


The program will be held entirely online from October 2022 to January 2023 and includes two main stages.


Educational Part (Round A, B)

This stage is implemented via online webinars and virtual classrooms and the goal is to introduce students to an entrepreneurial mindset, make them more familiar with common terms & methodologies of entrepreneurial programs, understand the specific sector & its fundamental
economic & technological concepts and get an insight on technologies & strategies on a specific thematic area. Moreover, they learn the process of generating an idea and get trained in the
Business Model Canvas principles so as to structure their idea as they should submit a business model canvas. The best teams that will be selected from a judging committee will enter Round C, during which they are getting 1-1 mentoring sessions so as to interact with their mentors and improve their ideas.
To be more specific, each mentor joins his/her session via an online webinar for a big audience
(using our online platform through which the program will be implemented) and gives a presentation about the topic that he/she selected out of a pool of topics which touch upon the
specific thematic area. At this round, there are no group mentoring sessions nor any 1-1 interaction with the attendees is required as the audience will be big. That being said, it is upon
the mentor’s decision whether he/she would like to interact more with the audience, ask questions, do a quick Q&A or discussion with the attendees at the last part of the session or
close the session. Moreover, mentors also have the opportunity to do their sessions in the format of a workshop or work on a specific case study during their session. In that case, they can also upload the training resources or exercises for the participants to be prepared for it prior to the session and send us the material as we are responsible for uploading it to our platform and letting the students know about the session’s agenda. These two rounds will last for 4 weeks during mid-October to mid-November and ideally each mentor is asked to dedicate
(without the preparation that they will make themselves prior to their session) about 1,5 hours,
holding one session based on the selected topic.

1-1 group mentoring sessions(Round C)

The 10 best teams that were selected attend Round C to have a 1-1 interaction with the mentors so as to dive into more details and experiment with entrepreneurial tools in order to finalize their business model & create a small prototype or a pitch video. Each mentor will be
engaged for one or two mentoring sessions to help the teams improve their idea for the final pitch. Moreover, the platform that will be used in the program would allow for the mentors to interact with the teams through chat inside the platform as well. This round will last for 10 weekdays during December, and ideally, each mentor is asked to dedicate (without any prior preparation needed at this stage) about 2-4 hours in total. Moreover, each team gets a public speaking and presentation workshop to prepare their pitch for the finals.


The 3 winners are selected by a judging committee, claiming monetary prizes, sponsored Trips to the USA and access to major incubation and acceleration programs, as well as additional rewards.

  • Contribution to unemployment relief through new business ideas based on market needs and development of entrepreneurial & public speaking skills.
  • > 150 students with different academic backgrounds will get introduced to
    entrepreneurship terms and utilize effectively their skills & knowledge based on
    opportunities that are available in that specific industry.
  • Vital networks & partnerships between students – mentors & among students will be created, realizing the importance of operating in teams.
  • > 150 students will be involved in entrepreneurial projects and bridge the European academic environment with business needs in that specific industry

  • > 20 videos/webinars & training material will be created under this thematic topic,

BAU APA2022 – Acceleration Program Autumn 2022

Accelerator UKIM is launching the Acceleration Program Autumn 2022 (BAU APA2022), tailored to the needs of today’s startups and offers financing, intensive mentoring, as well as time for implementation.

Startup Accelerator Of The Month – Business Accelerator UKIM

Business-technology Accelerator UKIM (BAU) was established in 2018 to identify and support the growth and competitiveness of the most promising technology entrepreneurs, startups, spin-offs, and scaleups in R.N. Macedonia. Macedonia’s most prestigious University Ss Cyril and Methodius Skopje, reinforces BAU’s strong technical knowledge and provides access to a unique infrastructure for development. What startups should take into account before applying to your acceleration program?

We are interested in solutions that are in the prototype, MVP, or first paying customers stage, and a dedicated mindset of a full-time team with a clear vision ready to attend 12 intensive weeks of transformation of their innovation into a profitable business combining boot camps, workshops, and 1:1 sessions with mentors.

We are looking for products and services that tackle real and serious existing problem that can be scaled globally. Primarily we evaluate product innovation level and subsequently the market potential and scalability and repeatability of the value proposition. Then we look at the company traction including financials and we set up company metrics to achieve its mission. Last but not least we explore the experience, capacity, and ambition of the team to adjust to continuous changes and be resilient enough to deal with everything that might come their way.

Can you share some of the red flags that can disqualify a startup from joining your accelerator?

Lack of motivation and coachability is a red flag for us considering further business development as we have their best interest, but that means a lot of hardcore pushing to get them set up, scale, and succeed. This is of utmost importance as during APA program, BAU clients are aligning their core story, deck, and product and making it ready for investors along with an improved business model, by learning from the best experts in the industry with the purpose to upskill them, but also identifying areas for improvement and their capabilities as a team, product, and company as a whole. Additional disqualification from the APA program is the product-market fit, whereas a startup develops a local business model and doesn’t have the potential to transform into a global business in the future.  So BAU participants need to be open to a variety of opportunities presented to them so they could continuously improve the business model but also their personal skills and competencies.

What are the most valuable skills that selected startups can develop thanks to your program?

With our due diligence and the diagnostic and action planning tools, we identify the needs and interests before and on the way, defining program structure accordingly. Global and regional industry experts and experienced mentors help our clients overcome specific blocks and challenges. In addition, our team creates a community that lets innovators circle back to the alumni, thus helping them with knowledge sharing, collaborations or finding further investment partners.

The structure of APA program is built over the idea of giving each week a specific topic where the BAU team works with APA startups on expanding their acquaintance concerning the product-market fit, customer acquisition, go-to-market strategy, and fundraising fundamentals, tools, and methodologies to run experiments as well as on tracking KPIs and acquisition channels.

In addition, BAU tackles the startup-corporate collaboration and supports startups to better understand the target market need.

During our 12 weeks program, startups receive customized coaching sessions with BAU industry experts and global mentors in:

How does your accelerator support portfolio companies during and after the program?

What key lessons have you learned from projects that didn’t work out the way you expected?

Those are three the most important ones that we want to share with you:

  • Team – lack of commitment and delayed time to execute to leverage on the open window of opportunity
  • KPI – lack of well-defined milestones and clear expectations and periodical checkpoints to ensure proper implementation
  • Adaptation – lack of the ability of the team to change and adjust go-to-market strategy according to the market validation keeping in mind the startup vision

Why, in your opinion, accelerators are becoming more popular nowadays?

Emerging ecosystems for startups and innovation face similar challenges; we have enormous innovation potential, with bright scientific minds, but many ideas remain within the ideation phase. At the same time, there is a significant number of needs that have been unmet from the corporate side where we see the crucial role of the accelerators to help existing companies in digital transformation.

The role of accelerators in the emerging ecosystem for startups and innovation is crucial as we link talents with funding, market opportunities with technology-based ideas, and support the innovators to scale globally. Continuous improvement of the innovation talents’ business skills is the only way to transform their ideas into a profitable business.

BAU support ambitious and dedicated entrepreneurs in growing and scaling their business, by investing and making our time, knowledge, and network available for the most promising entrepreneurs heading up high-growth in emerging and frontier markets.

What are the hottest markets you currently look at as an accelerator and where do you see the biggest hype?

BAU is looking into extending our clients’ portfolio into providing digital solutions globally. No particular markets are targeted.

Do you have any predictions about the key trends that will shape the European accelerator scene in the near future?

The impact on the global supply chain as a result of the global pandemic and recent wars creates an environment that will accelerate the digital transformation thus creating new windows of opportunities for innovative, sustainable and profitable ideas.

Основан во 2018 година, Акцелераторот УКИМ уште од самиот почеток континуирано развива специфични програми за поддршка на растот на најперспективните технолошки претприемачи, стартапи, спин-оф и брзо растечки компании во Северна Македонија во соработка со неговата глобална партнерска мрежа. Акцелераторот УКИМ имаше прилично исполнета агенда во 2021, со повеќе активности, проекти и настани со заедничка цел – поддршка на македонскиот стартап екосистем. Нина, кои беа најзначајните активности на Акцелераторот УКИМ изминатиов период?

Во текот на изминатата година, Aкцелераторот УКИМ беше доста активен преку учество во голем број на програми, проекти, како и сопствената акцелераторска програма АПА 2021.

Ја започнавме годината со учество во глобалниот предизвик на ФИА Регион 1, а во соработка со  АМСМ, во којшто 2 тима од Македонија стигнаа до глобалното финале. Понатаму, како локален партнер на Европскиот институт за иновации и технологија (ЕИТ) за програмата EIT Jumpstarter, минатата година за првпат ја организиравме работилницата за Македонија, на којашто детално го објаснивме процесот од аплицирање до финалната фаза, како и сите можности коишто понатаму ги нуди оваа програма, распространети низ целата мрежа на ЕИТ.

Имено, ЕИТ претставува организација формирана од страна на Европската унија во 2008 година и интегрален дел од програмата Хоризонт Европа, со цел да ги зајакне иновациите во Европа и во својата мрежа располага со голем број на универзитети, акцелератори и институции коишто ги поддржуваат иновациите, а EIT Jumpstarter претставува почетен чекор кон поврзување со нив. Минатата година, помеѓу вкупно 42 тима во големото финале се најдоа и два тима од Македонија, што го сметаме за особен успех. Горди сме што нашата соработка продолжува и оваа година, па веќе на 30 март ќе ја одржиме работилницата за 2022 година со што активно се вклучуваме во процесот на поддршка на нашите тимови коишто ќе аплицираат.

Минатата година спроведовме и акцелераторска програма наречена АПА 2021, која имаме за цел да ја спроведуваме секоја година и би сакале да стане наш заштитен знак, а беше поддржана од страна на Европската банка за обнова и развој (ЕБОР) преку програмата за поддршка на стартапи Star venture.

Што претставуваше всушност оваа програма?

Во неа учествуваа 17 стартапи во напредна фаза, коишто преку специјализирани сесии со реномирани експерти го унапредија своето знаење и развија конкретни насоки за развој на своето решение/ производ. Областите коишто ги дефиниравме како најсоодветни на фазата на развој во којашто се наоѓаат учесниците, беа: валидација на решението/ производот; клиенти, конкуренција и пазар; продажба, маркетинг и ценовна стратегија и финансиски план и проекции.

Програмата заврши со демо ден, на кој сите учесници го презентираа напредокот којшто го постигнале преку програмата, пред Одборот на директори на акцелераторот УКИМ и менторите.
Од нив, Акцелераторот УКИМ избра две компании (Синдекс и Брандер Студио) за кои смета дека имаат најголем потенцијал и инвестираше по 25.000 евра, со можност за дополнителна инвестиција од по 75.000 евра во двете компании. Освен финансиската инвестиција, акцелераторот обезбедува поддршка на своите инвестиции во областите во коишто смета дека е најпотребно, како на пример, развивање на маркетинг и продажна стратегија, финансии и слично, со цел да помогне во скалирање и глобален успех на решенијата.

10.000 евра за најдобрите учесниците во BAU EIT Jumpstarter 2022

Александар, кои се придобивките од учество на програмата EIT Jumpstarter  за иноваторите и македонската академска заедница?

Како што спомна веќе Нина, Европскиот институт за иновации и технологија (ЕИТ) е независно тело на ЕУ формирано во 2008 година, ги поттикнува иновациите и претприемништвото низ Европа за да се обезбедат напредни решенија за некои од нејзините најголеми предизвици.

  • Своите активности ЕИТ ги спроведува преку следниве специјализирани заедници за иновации: Здравство – EIT HEALTH; Агро-храна – EIT FOOD; Суровини – EIT RAW MATERIALS; Производство – EIT MANUFACTURING; Урбана мобилност – EIT URBAN MOBILITY, Енергија – EIT INNO ENERGY, Дигитални решенија – EIT DIGITAL, Климатски промени – EIT CLIMATE и од 2021 новата ЕИТ БАУХАУС.

Тоа е што е особено важно за македонската публика е програмата EIT Jumpstarter, која започна со работа во 2017 година, а од 2021 година Акцелераторот УКИМ е локален партнер за Македонија.

Целта на EIT Jumpstarter да се ослободи потенцијалот за иновации во новите европски региони на иноваторите и научниците од Јужна и Источна Европа обезбедувајќи меѓународни можности и пристап до знаење за да се овозможат поголеми шанси во комерцијализација на нивните решенија. За програмата во 2021 година се пријавија 548 апликанти, а се обучија 220 тима од 25 земји, од кои се креираа 25 стартап компании. Особено сме горди на 2 македонски решенија (ФИКСИГО и Скопје Зелен Град) кои пристигнаа во финалето.

Годинава има повторно повик за EIT Jumpstarter?

Повикот EIT Jumpstarter 2022 е отворен до 10.04.2022 и нуди:

  • пристап до знаење за трансформација на истражувањето во бизнис идеја,
  • грантови од ЕИТ и можности за инвестиции од Акцелераторот УКИМ.

Отворениот повик за иноватори со идеја за производ или услуга кои сакаат истиот да го пласираат на пазарите во следниве индустрии: здравство, агро-храна, суровини, производство, урбана мобилност, енергија и Баухаус, преку програмата EIT Jumpstarter во 2022 ќе ги добијат следните придобивки: (1) Поддршка за креирање на бизнис модел за вашата иновативна идеја: (а) како да ja валидирате вашата идеја, (б) сегментација на пазарот, (в) понуда за вредност на клиентите, (г) финансии и основи на инвестиции, (д) правни основи; (2) Пристап до европските пазари и поврзување со шесте големи индустриски партнери на ЕИТ: GE Healthcare, Siemens, Philips, Roche, Bosch, Nestlé, Pepsico, Maspex и други; (3) Поддршка за патување и сместување и (4) Парична награда од €10.000 за најдобрите тимови во секоја категорија.

За избраните идеи и тимови во EIT Jumpstarter 2022 следат неколку специјализирани обуки преку кои на најуспешните се обезбедени околу 100 часа знаење за креирање на нивниот бизнис модел низ: (1) Онлајн обуки (bootcamps) кои ќе се одржат во Мај и Јуни за 210 тимови, со следната селекција ќе бидат избрани 105 тимови за учество на (2) локалните обуки кои ќе се одржат во Јули и Септември што треба да ги номинира најдобрите 42 тимови во (3) финалето кое ќе се одржи во Ноември. Минатата година, Акцелераторот УКИМ во соработка со програмата Star Venture на ЕБОР ја спроведе Акцелераторската Програма Есен 2021 година (AПA2021), во која се вклучија реномирани локални, регионални и глобални експерти, а четири глобални успешни стартапи ги споделија своите приказни, успеси и неуспеси.

Преку менторската програма, експертите со своето разновидно искуство и знаење обезбедија вредни перспективи за усовршување на учесниците во АПА2021 и ги подготвија за инвестирање и освојување на пазарот. Како резултат на оваа програма, Акцелераторот УКИМ финансираше две решенија, решението Lista и во играта SciGirl: The Internship, и очекува да инвестира уште во неколку стартапи од учесниците во АПА2021.

Основан во 2018 година, Акцелераторот УКИМ уште од самиот почеток континуирано развива специфични програми за поддршка на растот на најперспективните технолошки претприемачи, стартапи, спин-оф и брзорастечки компании во Северна Македонија во соработка со неговата глобална партнерска мрежа.

Акцелераторот УКИМ очекува стартапи со посветен тим од најмалку двајца членови со иновативна идеја и глобална визија за раст, со минимум 51 процент македонска сопственост и со дефинирана интелектуална сопственост, кои се заинтересирани за работа со глобални експерти, да слушнат и споделат искуство со успешни стартапи, да добијат професионално менторство, мрежа на контакти, и финансирање од Акцелераторот УКИМ.

Она што е карактеристично за оваа програма е што селектираните стартапи ќе добијат финансирање од 25 илјади евра пред започнување на програмата, која ќе се спроведува 12 недели во периодот од септември до декември 2022 година.

Што рекоа за БАУ АПА2021

Искуството со коешто се здобивме преку акцелераторската програма АПА 2021 беше од големо значење за тим како нашиот, којшто работи на своето решение веќе 2 години во индустрија којашто не е многу застапена во Македонија. За времетраењето на акцелераторската програма, со помош и поддршка на тимот на акцелераторот УКИМ и менторите, успеавме да навлеземе подлабоко во анализа на конкуренцијата и да ја развиеме основата на продажните и маркетинг канали.
